Saint Albray®

Saint Albray® cheese was invented in 1976—a virtual newcomer compared to France’s tenured favorites. This intriguing cheese is made from the milk of the famous "Blonde des Pyrenees" cows that graze in the lush pastures of Jurançon at the foot of the Pyrenees in France. Saint Albray® cheese is best recognized by its scalloped “flower” silhouette and has an attractive reddish rind that contrasts well with its soft and creamy white interior. It features the distinctively rich and robust flavor of a traditional washed-rind cheese, with underlying garlicky notes and a hint of hazelnut.
