Mahón
El Cortijo® Mahón is a cow’s milk cheese imparted with the lemony, salty flavors of its rural Mediterranean seascape. Made on the island of Menorca, Spain, this D.O.P. (Denomination of Origin) regulated cow’s milk cheese features a hard, crumbly, Cheddar-like texture. At its peak, Mahón offers tangy, intense and delicious flavor. Mahón is aged in a hard rind which should be removed and is traditionally served with a sprig of fresh rosemary and drizzled with olive oil.
