Fontina

Earthy and sweet, il Giardino® Fontina cheese is a much-loved favorite. Its flavor is at once delicate and buttery, with hints of nuts and honey. Made of unpasteurized cow’s milk from the Alps of Northern Italy, this medium-ripened cheese yields a smooth, straw-colored paste with tiny holes similar to Swiss cheese. This versatile cheese can be used in fondues and crepes, grated over salads and soups or into bread dough or effortlessly melted onto Italian sandwiches and panini.
