Ricotta Salata

Salty and slightly sweet, il Giardino® Ricotta Salata is distinctly different from cow’s milk Italian ricotta cheese. Made of sheep’s milk, this firm, white cheese is derived from slightly salted curd and used for grating or shaving. Ricotta Salata has a milder, less salty flavor than Pecorino Romano and adds great flavor to salads.
