The Most Comprehensive Organic Line Still Growing
DCI Cheese Company Introduces Organic Parmesan and Goat Cheese
RICHFIELD, Wis., January 2008 – Gearing up for the New Year with two new organic cheeses! DCI Cheese Company is introducing a new organic domestic Parmesan wedge and organic 4oz Goat log under the company’s Organic Creamery branded line of specialty cheeses. Both new products are USDA certified organic, 100% natural, and produced without the use of synthetic growth hormones.
The Organic Parmesan wedge is a 7-9 ounce random weight piece, made in Wisconsin, and perfect for grating and shredding. The Organic Goat Cheese is a 4 ounce log, and has the traditional flavor consumers enjoy.
“Our role in the significant growth of the organic cheese industry is one of our greatest successes,” said Linda Hook, Vice President of Marketing, DCI Cheese Company. “We are excited to continue to grow and expand our Organic Creamery brand offerings in an effort to bring even more choices and varieties to our consumers.”
The organic industry has been enjoying double-digit annual growth in recent years and the U.S. organic food market is projected to reach sales of $6.8 billion in 2012. The introduction of the organic Parmesan and organic Goat cheese keeps DCI at the forefront of the organic cheese category, as the company continues to have the most extensive variety of organic cheeses available in the U.S.
The organic Parmesan and organic Goat cheese joins the already impressive line of DCI’s Organic Creamery 100% organic cheeses which include Asiago, Blue Cheese, Baby Swiss, Colby, Feta, Gouda, Gorgonzola, Havarti, Mild Cheddar, Monterey Jack, Mozzarella, Muenster, Parmesan, Pepper Jack, Provolone, Sharp Cheddar, String Cheese and Romano.
