- Lavish and rich enough for special occasions, or place it on the daily menu as a smooth and buttery treat
- Best when combined simply with crusty French bread
- Unwind after work by plating up some Saint André, a baguette, a sliced pear and a light beer
Saint André® cheese is perhaps the world’s most famous triple crème cheese, and for good reason. This decadent treat tastes like an intense version of brie, but since it is enriched with heavy cream it has a high butterfat content (about 75%) which makes it exceptionally rich, dense and buttery. It is smaller and shaped higher than the familiar flat wheel of brie and its silky texture is a bit drier than its cousin.
Saint André® cheese is traditionally crafted in the coastal pastures of Coutances, in the Normandy region of northwestern France. Its satiny white edible rind derives a delightfully salty tang from the ocean air blowing through the region’s grazing lands. Its decadent flavor includes delicate notes of sweet cream and heavy sour cream with an enchantingly smooth finish.
