Makes 1 Serving.
Ingredients:
- 2 slices of white bread, thickly cut
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 2 slices Leerdammer® cheese
- Homemade tonnato
- 1/2 oz. black olives, pitted and chopped
- Handful of lettuce
Tonnato:
- 7 oz. tuna
- 1/2 oz. capers
- 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp. tomato puree
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Butter one side of each slice of bread and layer the tonnato, olives, cheese and lettuce. Top with the second slice of bread, butter side down.
