Spicy Cheddar Cheeseburger

Makes 4 servings.


  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 4 oz. breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 small red onion, chopped into small cubes
  • Seasoning to taste
  • 6 oz. Ilchester® Spicy Cheddar cheese, sliced
  • 4 hamburger buns, split and toasted
  • Lettuce and tomatoes, for ganish


In a large bowl, combine beef, seasoning, onion and egg; mix well. Shape into 4 burgers.

Grill the burgers until cooked to your liking. Top with Ilchester® Spicy Cheddar cheese; cook until cheese is melted. To serve, place garnish on top of hamburgers.
