Sainte Maure™

Soignon® Sainte Maure™ is a surface-ripened goat cheese named after its point of origin, a small town in the Touraine region of France’s Loire Valley. Perhaps its most recognizable feature is the rye straw that runs through its center to help retain the soft and delicate cheese’s shape.

Soignon® Sainte Maure™ cheese is shaped like an elongated tapered log and features a hard, dappled blue-gray rind. The edible rind provides a wonderful contrast to the cheese’s stark, white interior and combines to offer a nutty, slightly acidic flavor with hints of citrus.
