Fontina

Stella® Fontina is a semi-soft cheese with a sweet and buttery flavor that is accented with mildly earthy undertones. The interior of this cheese is a gorgeous pale cream color that is peppered with a smattering of tiny holes. Its consistency is both appealing and versatile: Stella® Fontina melts beautifully into sauces, fondue, lasagna, quiche and Panini and is also great served simply as a table cheese.

Slice Stella® Fontina over pieces of Italian bread, add slices of fresh tomatoes and basil leaves and lightly toast for a delectable appetizer. It can also be used to make delightfully gooey grilled cheese sandwiches that pair nicely with full red wines like Côtes du Rhône Rosé.
